PAY IT FORWARD

We are so thankful for all that God has done through Lake Pointe over the last 40 years that we want to celebrate by intentionally Paying It Forward for 40 Days. The people of Lake Pointe are actively seeking to be a blessing in our communities by committing acts of kindness to others. We would love for you to join us! You may be wondering what you can do to Pay It Forward, so we made a list to give you a few ideas. Here are some ideas you can use to help Pay It Forward:

Planned Ways To Pay It Forward

 

  • Sep 16: Send a note, email or text of encouragement to someone.
  • Sep 24: Pay for someone’s coffee/meal behind you in the drive-through and pray for them.
  • Oct 2: Forgive an old grudge.
  • Oct 10: Take $5 gift cards to teachers, principals and school administrators.
  • Oct 18: Deliver fresh-baked cookies to a neighbor or co-worker.
  • Oct 24: Invite someone to come to church with you this weekend!
40 Ways To Pay It Forward
  • Keep a giveaway bag stocked with snacks, toiletries and socks for the homeless you may encounter.
  • Pay for someone’s gas.
  • Take out the garbage for an elderly or physically challenged neighbor.
  • Leave an encouraging note or surprise with items you are donating, selling or returning.
  • Bring fresh flowers to someone.
  • Offer to babysit for a family.
  • Mow someone’s yard.
  • Forgive an old grudge.
  • Pet sit for someone.
  • Contact someone from your past who encouraged you in some way and let them know the difference they made.
  • When you run into someone who does an excellent job, take the extra 5 minutes to tell their supervisor.
  • Serve at one of the Senior Care facilities in your community.

  • Pay for someone’s groceries that is behind you in line.
