LAKE POINTE ONLINE
Even though we canot meet you in person, we are so excited you are joining us online. Below you will find information about Lake Pointe, how you can experience church online and how you can connect with us during this season.
HOW TO EXPERIENCE
SATURDAYS 6 PM | SUNDAYS 9:30 & 11 AM
Life Groups are meeting every week, and if you don’t have a group, we can help. Text “Group” to 20411, and we will help you connect to a small group currently meeting online.
You can also join an open Life Group on any of our campus Facebook pages every Sunday at 12 PM.
LPKids Online is an amazing opportunity for kids in preschool through grade school and their parents to learn and worship together. We will post new video lessons, learning activities, and conversation guides on our Facebook group every week.
Each of our campus pastors are hosting online devotionals multiple times a week so you can dig deeper into God’s Word, hear encouragement and connect with others. Visit any campus Facebook page for a schedule and more information.
Josh Howerton is the Senior Pastor of Lake Pointe Church. Before Lake Pointe, he was the Lead Pastor of The Bridge Church in Nashville, TN for 10 years. After graduating from Union University with a degree in Theological Studies, he attended Southern Seminary. Josh is married to Jana, whom he met on a blind date, and together they have three children—Eliana, Felicity Hope, and Hudson. WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe during His First Advent, our Lord Jesus Christ voluntarily left the glories of Heaven, taking upon Himself full and perfect humanity in His incarnation.
We believe salvation in our Lord Jesus Christ is a redemptive process wholly of God, in which believers participate solely on the basis of His grace through their faith in Jesus.
Baptism is a public proclamation of faith and new life in Jesus Christ. It is an outward public testimony of an inward invisible transformation.
We believe God created humans, both male and female, in His perfect image.
We believe the 66 books, which compose the canon of Holy Scripture, to be the sole authority of our faith and practice.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit permanently indwells all believers, fulfilling His regenerating work of the new birth unto eternal life.
