Traditional therapy involves meeting for a one-hour session with your therapist each week. This format supports individuals, couples and families struggling with a variety of issues or difficult situations but is not recommended for marriages in crisis.
Intensive therapy is a powerful format that allows for rapid change in your marriage by providing the equivalent of six months of therapy in just one week. This model, know as Emotionally Focused Therapy, is the most researched and successful marital therapy model to date.

Carolyn Sidereas is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She received her B.A. at the University of Texas, and her master’s degree in Counseling from Texas A & M. She has a passion for helping people heal and thrive in life and relationships. Areas of specialization include: premarital and marital, affair recovery, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), sexual abuse, PTSD & EMDR, Brainspotting, (including 2 hour sessions, full and half day intensives, and weekend couples’ intensives).

Brent Theis is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas. He received a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Amberton University. He is committed to helping adults and marriages grow and thrive addressing any issue that hinders the process. Areas of specialization include: premarital, marital (including 2 hour sessions, full and half day intensives and weekend couples’ intensives). Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Brainspotting for trauma anxiety/depression, affair recovery, sexual abuse, sexually integrity issues, spiritual and personal growth.
Casey Christian, Director of Recovery, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. He received his Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1997. His areas of practice include working with families, adolescents, individuals, and couples Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). Areas of specialization include: addictions & recovery, working with premarital and marital counseling, divorce recovery, affair recovery, blended families, trauma, same-sex attraction, depression, grief, anxiety, and life transitions.
Andrea Crumrine is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She received a B.A. in Psychology from Texas A&M University and a M.A. in Counseling from Dallas Baptist University. Her areas of practice include working with children ages 7 – 12, adolescent girls and individual women. Areas of specialization include: utilizing play therapy techniques with children, relationship issues, personal growth, life transitions, depression, anxiety, grief, gender identity issues, and women’s issues.
Lourie Farrell received her B.A. In Elementary Education from Middle Tennessee State University and M.S. in Counseling from Texas A&M University-Commerce. She has a passion for personal growth and development; helping others to become the best version of themselves. Areas of specialization include: couples, men and women life adjustment issues, parenting skills, sexual abuse, trauma, Brainspotting, grief, depression, anxiety, addiction and recovery, as well as relational issues. Training includes: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy DBT and Emotions Focused Therapy (EFT).

David Foster is a Licensed Professional Counselor as well as a member of Texas Counseling Association, the American Association of Christian Counselors, and a Clinical Fellow with the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. He holds graduate degrees from Dallas Theological Seminary, Wheaton College and Columbia International University. Areas of specialization include: individuals, adolescents, ministry/missionary care, and trauma treatment.
Tammy Williams Smith
Tammy Williams Smith is a Licensed Professional Counselor who received a B.A.S. in Ministry and Psychology from Dallas Baptist University and an M.A. in Counseling from Amberton University. Tammy works with trauma and addiction recovery, including PTSD, grief, sexual abuse, anxiety, depression and life transitions. She focuses on the balance between spiritual, physical and emotional health using the tools of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Existential therapy, among others.
Nancy Bourland is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She received a B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Counseling and a M.S. in Counseling both from Texas A&M University-Commerce. She works with children age 7 years and older, adolescents and young adults. Areas of specialization include: utilizing play therapy techniques with children, depression, anxiety, grief, anger, abuse, trauma, divorce recovery, adjustment disorders, learning issues, relationship issues, and transitioning to college. She also utilizes the Conner’s CBRS test when learning and/or behavioral issues arise at school.
Steve Johnson is a Licensed Professional Counselor. He has his B.A. in Psychology as well as a Masters in Biblical Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary and a Masters in Biblical Counseling from Colorado Christian Counseling. Areas of specialization include: marital and pre-martial counseling, affair recovery, men’s issues, same sex attraction, first responders –police & fire service, anxiety, depression, past trauma, sexual abuse, grief and spiritual issues, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
Kimberly West is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a certified Texas Professional School Counselor. She received her B.S. from Dallas Baptist University and a master’s degree in Counseling from Texas A&M University-Commerce. Kimberly sees adults, adolescents and families. Areas of specialization include: parenting, parent-teen relationships, depression, anxiety, adjustment issues, grief, individual issues, and personal growth.
